You can purchase the Watco Universal NuFit® Bathtub Stopper and Drain in a choice of the Push Pull® or Foot Actuated configurations. It is available with a Silicone Adhesive installation or the new Pin Adapter in the most-common 3/8"-5/16" size or the #10-24 Trip Lever (a ¼” pin option is coming soon). We even provide a Bathtub Stopper Thread Guide to use to determine the size of your existing pin.

Indeed, but if it took time to clean, why not try replacing it? then you can install it anyway. Or contact some plumber to install it, just like mine in sydney. I was about to freak out when suddenly i remember some north sydney plumbers for blocked drains, bath tub, toilets, sink and even do some emergency plumbing.
